Rubber Johnny is a short film made by Chris Cunningham. Cunningham created this video as a promotion for the new Aphex Twin album “Drukqs”. The video didn’t look like a promotion video at all, but was very popular amongst some people. The video below is an extended version of the promotion video. I really like the dark and vague scenes because you can’t really see what the hell is going on and what you are actually looking at. Your imagination will fill in the blanks which is pretty cool. (if you have as much imagination as I do..)

“Johnny is a hyperactive, shape-shifting mutant child, kept locked away in a basement. With only his feverish imagination and his terrified dog for company, he finds ways to amuse himself in the dark.”
