April 22, 2009 - Earth Day

Today was Earth Day! I knew this because I read it in a free newspaper called Metro. This newspaper was all green (literally) and full of articles about our beloved earth (and how we are destroying it). Ironically enough I found piles of these newspapers scattered around trains, stations, the street and even in the bushes when I walked to my school..

I actually am pretty “green” since I ride a bicycle to go to the train station, then travel an hour by train and walk the rest towards my school. When I’m at school I plug in my laptop which keeps running until I go home (which was 6 and a half hours later today). For lunch I bought a cheese sandwich covered in plastic. etc. etc. (I could go on for a while..)

My point is:As long as were here, this globe is fucked.
