I went to Venlo today to check out my friend NH Niels Herman’s art exposition. The exposition was created by orientation course members from the academy for visual arts at “Kunstcentrum Venlo”. The title of the exposition was: YOUAREHERE.
Niels was able to use the 2 toilets on the ground floor of the building. 1 of them was white and the other one was painted black. Here’s the black one:
As you can see, Niels filled the sink with chalk so that everyone could leave a message on the walls, toilets, toilet paper, floor, roof, sink, dry blower, toilet brush or whatever you could find. The idea was great and it turned out very good! There were a lot of message (some better than the others) and the effect was very very nice!
The other toilet was white:
The sink in the white toilet was filled with waterproof markers so that visitors could, once again, leave messages on the walls.
The exposition was awesome! Of course there were more students that showed their creations, but I didn’t take photo’s of them. If anyone has a link to any other creations, please mail it to me (or leave a simple comment).
